Hi. I’m Keith and I’m the self-proclaimed Roving Photog. Many years ago I purchased my first digital camera – a Sony Cybershot DSC-P51 point-and-shoot – in an effort to capture some of the more exciting moments of my life and of the lives of those close to me. Thanks to the opportunities to visit some really amazing places, and participate in some really cool events, my passion for photography and being behind the camera increased significantly and continues to do so. I’m still very much the amateur photographer, with much left to learn and in which to become proficient; but each new venturing out brings me that much more experience.
Currently I can be found rockin’ my latest gear – a Nikon D750 – around streets, parks, and random venues, eyes open and waiting for any person, object, or event that strikes a chord within me. By day I’m a software engineer, making a me-shaped impact in the city of Birmingham, AL and enjoying the presence of friends and family. By night – or rather, by the other days – I’m at the viewfinder end of a DSLR, looking for that next *wow* moment and attempting to capture and appreciate as much of this very short period on Earth as humanly possible.
“We were meant to explore this earth like children do, unhindered by fear, propelled by curiosity and a sense of discovery. Allow yourself to see the world through new eyes and know there are amazing adventures here for you.”
